A modern manufacture micro-rotor
Universal Genève heritage.
UG 101 architecture.
Universal Genève helped pioneer the compact automatic micro-rotor architecture in the 1950s. Reference 8101.126-001 revisits that signature engineering in a modern stainless-steel watch, pairing a textured black dial with applied Arabic numerals, faceted markers, and a framed date display at three o’clock.
Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the automatic manufacture caliber UG 101 uses a recessed micro-rotor, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. This excellent-condition example is fitted to its steel bracelet and is presented with the Universal Genève boxes, papers, warranty card dated May 1, 2024, and additional links shown.
